Bearfoot FX Model G+
The Model G+ is engineered to sound like the most overlooked amps in history: vintage Gibson amps. These pieces lie somewhere near the tweeds and Supro amps of the time, but with a distinctive upper-mids character.
Like its distant cousin, the Honey Bee, you get Volume, Nature and Drive controls, but the Comp knob is the difference maker, and on the G+, it’s even more dramatic. This single control adjusts several parameters at once, including upper midrange control, slight cab simulation and even a little grit.

The Model G+ can run at any voltage between 5 and 15, for some supreme headroom for stacking. And it stacks very well, or you can use it as a preamp right before it hits your amp—yes, even after reverb and delay. It is just that amp-like.

Bjorn Juhl designed this circuit, and you might recognize that name as one of pedal royalty. Like his other circuits, the Model G+ is an original and is tirelessly engineered in his native Sweden, then built in the States.
