The Bearfoot FX Pink Purple Fuzz blurs the lines—not just of color, but as effect type. Is it fuzz, overdrive, or distortion? In terms of the color—can’t it be both? In terms of the tone? It’s all three, depending on how you dial it in.
The Pink Purple is a very high-gain fuzz tone that is surprisingly very low-noise, giving a wide variety of fuzz “families” fuzztones, all while and blurring the lines between fuzz, distortion, and overdrive—with a versatile two-band EQ that keeps the action tight.

The original PPF contained only a mids control, but the newly-added Bass and Treble knobs are powerful enough to have a little overlap, and so adjustable mids are possible with some exacting knobwork.
The design, like most by BJFE, is an original circuit, and this one features a hybrid silicon and germanium design for the best of both worlds.
