Generate up to four octaves to layer with your guitar tone, with the Walrus Audio Luminary V2 octave generator pedal. This second-generation effects pedal builds on the success of the original Luminary to offer more refined control over effects parameters. Luminary generates four different octaves — -2, -1, +1, and +2 — and you can layer and combine them with their dedicated volume knobs. You'll be able to generate organ tones, stuttering synth pads, subtle 12-string-style sounds, and much more. And thanks to three onboard presets, plus a live mode, you'll have access to four custom sounds at any time with the Walrus Audio Luminary V2 pedal.

What's new in V2?
Walrus Audio listened to player feedback to refine the Luminary V2 quad octave generator pedal. The octave volume knobs and the envelope lowpass filter response have been tweaked for more musical results. A longer attack time is available for the envelope control, determining how quickly the octaves "bloom" after your initial pick attack. The flutter knob now dials in a tremolo effect instead of chorus. And Smart Momentary Bypass switch allows for momentary effects operation.






Add an expression pedal for more sonic control
Guitarists at Sweetwater are pleased to see expression pedal support on the Luminary V2, and it's a flexible option indeed. Five internal DIP switches allow you to choose which controls are affected by the expression pedal. In all, the switches give you access to octaves +1/-1, octaves +2/-2, attack control, flutter control, and dry/wet control. Engage whichever switches you want in any combination, or even all of them simultaneously.
