Versatile controls shape your tone
To help you create your ultimate tone, the Ultra-Phonix HRM has extra tone-shaping controls that include Master, Ratio, Volume, Accent, and Tone parameters. The onboard preamp is controlled by the volume control. Set the volume at noon, and you'll enjoy classic British sizzle. Tweak the Accent control to increase presence and harmonic saturation. The Ratio knob blends your distorted signal with the clean signal while the tone knob accentuates upper-mids from 800-1.6kHz. Once you get the perfect mix of saturation and drive, use the Master control to set your final level. You may be able to control the final volume, but this pedal sounds wide-open at all volume levels.
