Top-shelf tonewoods deliver superior sound
ESP wasn't fooling around when they built this USA M-7 HT. They started with a body built from mahogany. The warmth and resonance of mahogany are at the center of some of the most legendary rock guitar tones of all time. But ESP didn't stop there. They topped the mahogany with big leaf maple burl, prized for its bite and sustain, as well as its eye-catching appearance. The result is an incredibly thick tone with a bold, edgy character. What’s more, this guitar's super-stable maple neck and fingerboard result in a comfortable-playing, extended-range guitar with plenty of snap.




High-headroom EMG X Series active humbuckers
This ESP USA M-7 HT boasts two EMG X Series pickups. These active humbuckers are essentially high-headroom versions of the company’s classic 81 and 85 models. The 81X-7 bridge pickup employs powerful ceramic magnets and close aperture coils, yielding detailed intensity, incredible high-end cut, and fluid sustain. With the 81X-7, your solos will cut through anything. The 85X-7 neck pickup utilizes Alnico V magnets that inject your rhythm playing with a chunky growl and drive your leads into sweet saturation. The 85X-7 gives you the punch you need to play anything from blues to metal.




ESP USA series employs the finest materials from around the world
ESP started as a manufacturer of after-market guitar parts in Japan in the late 1970s. By the mid-'80s, ESP was making custom guitars for some of the biggest names in rock.
