Top-notch construction

This Sunset Custom Masterworks features an ash body — a popular choice for its balance of brightness, warmth, and midrange "pop." Both the ash body and the quartersawn maple neck have been roasted to remove all possible moisture before construction, allowing for maximum resonance and sustain.






Versatile electronics
This Sunset Custom Masterworks is fitted with VS-1 single-coil pickups in the neck and mid positions, and the middle pickup is reverse-wound for hum-canceling operation when you combine them. In the bridge position, a Pasadena Plus humbucker offers decisive lead tones, with the option of coil-tapped single-coil tones by pulling up on the master tone knob. The guitarists at Sweetwater love the sonic range of this configuration.




Just-right playability
This Schecter Sunset Custom Masterworks's neck is expertly carved from a piece of quartersawn maple. Ebony caps the neck with a 14" radius. Its Standard Thin "C" profile offers a fast, modern feel. Add in Jascar 6100 stainless steel frets for ultra-smooth bends, and this Sunset Custom Masterworks almost plays itself.
