The original Les Paul Specials and Junior models were originally introduced as entry level instruments in the mid-50's, the perfect alternative for a musician looking for Les Paul tone in a stripped down package. Both models quickly became wildly popular, becoming staple instruments among the likes of Bob Marley, John Lennon, Mick Jones and many more. These back to basics models are lean, mean and have distinct personalities all their own. Did we mention they're P-90 pickups are dripping with overtones and tons of character?
