The pedal boasts separate pre-drive and boost circuits that can be utilized individually or simultaneously. The pre-drive side is ideal for pushing high-gain amps into tight, thick distortion. The boost side of the pedal offers up to 23dB of clean output. This is perfect for punching the front end of a smaller amplifier. And the Regency's onboard effects loop adds in your other effects for a 1-stomp lead tone.




Pre-drive
What sets the Radial Tonebone Regency pre-drive and booster pedal apart from other overdrive pedals is that it's designed specifically for pushing your driven amp even harder. You'll find three controls for level, tone, and drive that act as you'd expect. The 3-position Low-mid switch defines the frequencies that you send to the amp. By choosing the best position for your setup, you'll push just the right frequencies, ensuring your amp tone remains tight and focused, no matter how hard you drive it.





Up to 23dB of boost
The other side of the Regency is the Class A boost circuit. By activating the boost, you unlock up to 23dB of clean output. This is fantastic for punching the front of a clean amp to achieve touch-sensitive breakup, or for hitting a dirty amp for even more sag and saturation. The boost circuit is 100% discrete and manufactured using only the highest-grade components. And the boost can be used with the pre-drive or on its own.





Onboard effects loop
A powerful feature of the Tonebone Regency's boost effect is the onboard effects loop. This allows you to add modulation, time-based effects, compression, or any other effect you desire into the Regency's signal. With a single tap of your toe, you can access a pre-made tone with your favorite pedals. This is ideal for performance. With one stomp, you'll go from rhythm to lead tones without messing with menus and complex pedal switchers.
