Borrowing heavily from the popular Palisades pedal, EarthQuaker Devices distilled much of their heavily modified 808 overdrive sound into the compact Dunes V2 stompbox. In addition to Gain, Tone, and Level controls, the Dunes V2 comes equipped with three selectable voices, two bandwidth settings, and a bright switch — the go-to features that have made the Palisades one of the overdrive pedals gigging guitarists at Sweetwater love to recommend. The voices include crunchy MOSFET and smooth silicon transistor settings, as well as gritty op-amp distortion (that's settings 3, 5, and 1 on the Palisades). You can also focus your sound with either "stock" bandwidth or full range if you need extra low end, allowing the EarthQuaker Devices Dunes V2 to deliver a massive range of tone, without overloading your pedalboard.
