True tube overdrive
By stomping the Ashdown Stuart Zender Signature Funk Face's Valve footswitch, you bring in a warm grind that can usually only be achieved using a real preamp tube. The 12AX7 seen through the pedal's attractive faceplate imparts your tone with thick harmonics and great touch sensitivity. Want to change the order of the filter and overdrive? Simply push the pre/post switch conveniently located on the side of the Funk Face. This delivers two very different voices that are sure to inspire.






Dynamic filter effect
The real secret to the "Virtual Insanity" bass tone is the subtle wah filter effect that helps the bass punch right through the mix. You'll find it waiting under the pedal's Wah footswitch. A simple twist of the Sensitivity control takes you from that subtle tone to a more pronounced effect, completely controlled by your playing dynamics.
