One Control Basilisk MIDI Switcher

Control any MIDI device using the One Control Basilisk. This programmable MIDI controller can send both Patch Change (PC) and Control Change (CC) numbers, giving you complete commands over your MIDI devices. The Basilisk holds a total of 128 presets (64 banks of two presets), with each preset containing five PC# and CC#. You get expanded PC# values from 0~199. You can also recall a preset by receiving PC# via MIDI input. The Basilisk features two modes — Direct Access mode recalls all of your presets quickly and easily, while Flash Access mode recalls four presets by pressing four footswitches. You can also specify start and ending bank numbers for lightning-fast searching. The Basilisk boasts quiet momentary footswitches.




The difference between One Control's Basilisk and Gecko MKIII
Several Sweetwater customers have asked us to explain the difference between One Control's Basilisk MIDI controller and their Gecko MKIII MIDI switcher. Quite simply, the Basilisk sends both Patch Change (PC) and Control Change (CC) numbers, while the Gecko MKII can only send Patch Change numbers.
