Tonal Evaluation
This koa-topped killer has certainly left an impression on me! I can't think of any other guitars that sound quite like this serial. The okume body lends it excellent warmth and roundness in the midrange, while the koa top and thinline construction give it an airy, brilliant, sweet high end. The neck pickup is quite warm and jazzy with transparent trebles that ensure that every note of whatever flat-seven diminished add 11 chord you throw at it rings out clearly. The middle pickup has tight bass response, pillowy low-mids, and sparkly upper-mids. The bridge pickup has a jangly, open high-end that blooms over punchy midrange. If you seek a Strat that will set you apart from the pack with its one-of-a-kind sounds, this serial will make you a happy camper!
