JoeCo's BlueBox BBWR24MP is spec'd with 24 high-quality 24bit/96kHz converters and mic preamps with comprehensive parameter control. The BlueBox offers pro connectivity that includes individually switchable mic/line inputs and balanced outputs. The audio clocks can lock to timecode, video, or word clock inputs. You can connect mics via tails from the rear-panel D-Sub connectors, or using XLR connectors on JoeCo's optional 2RU breakout panel.
Broadcast WAV format recording
With the BlueBox BBWR24MP, audio is recorded direct to an external USB2/3 drive (available separately) in Broadcast WAV format for instant ingest into your production workflow. In addition to the BBWR24MP's multichannel recording capabilities, you also have simultaneous stereo mixdown and external summing mixer capabilities. The JoeCo BlueBox BBWR24MP also supports the iXML data format. Sweetwater FOH engineers are finding the BlueBox BBWR24MP ideal for set-it-and-forget-it multitrack recording of live shows.
Fully remote controllable
The JoeCo BlueBox BBWR24MP runs off a 12V power source, and you can disable channels and features to preserve battery life on location. The BBR1MP is fully controllable via JoeCoControl on Mac/PC, or via JoeCoRemote for iPad, which lets you set up individual mic preamp channel parameters, including level, mic/line selection, phantom power, highpass filter, soft limiter, and phase reversal. Your levels are clearly visible on high resolution meters, and you can tweak your monitor via expandable channel strips with graphical faders, pans, solos, mutes, and various other parameter controls.
