The JTV-89F reaches far beyond the merely ordinary. With onboard Variax HD technology, you can instantly access the sounds of dozens of electric and acoustic guitars, as well as other fretted instruments, and switch between alternate tunes with the quick turn of a knob. Beyond the miracle of the technology, the JTV-89F is also a fine instrument, designed by master luthier James Tyler. With a solid mahogany body and 3-piece maple neck that features Tyler's "Fast n' Flat" neck profile and a 24-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard, it's totally ready to shred. High-output Alnico humbuckers complement the Variax system for some seriously punishing guitar tones. On stage or in the studio, the JTV-89F puts the versatility and tonal quality you want right at your fingertips, while offering an amazing set of options for creating new tones. Use the included Workbench software to dig in and further customize tunings, modeled pickup placement and choice — a virtually endless set of options that are only limited by your imagination.
