The Midas 512 operates across four fully parametric bands: Bass (20Hz to 400Hz); Lo Mid (100Hz to 2kHz); Hi Mid (400Hz to 8kHz); and Treble (1kHz to 20kHz). Gain (±15dB) and Frequency


adjustments are executed via stacked dual-concentric controls — the center knob controls Gain and the outer ring, Frequency. Bass and Treble are shelving filters; pressing the Bell buttons changes the response to peaking. Engineers at Sweetwater appreciate the inclusion of Q controls on all four bands (inactive on Bass and Treble in shelving mode). This classic setup gives you quick, intuitive access for all your sound-sculpting needs.
