Empress Effects Bass ParaEq Parametric 3-Band Equalizer Pedal

Experience the full control and transparency of the Empress Effects ParaEq MKII Deluxe in a pedal tuned specifically for bass with the Bass ParaEq. Sporting three bands of variable parametric EQ with fully sweepable Q and a new dynamic, self-adjusting low-shelf filter, the Bass ParaEq offers total control for electric and upright bass.

Each band offers ±15 dB of gain control and the pedal also features adjustable high- and low-pass filters, just like the ParaEq MKII. A selectable 10-megohm Hi-Z input allows the Bass ParaEq to perfectly match high-impedance inputs like piezo pickups and upright basses. An adjustable clean boost with a dedicated footswitch allows you to provide more gain before an FX chain or drive the input of a tube amp. With an internal operating voltage of 27V, close to that of rack-mounted equipment, you get significant headroom and clarity regardless of gain levels. And with buffered bypass, you can enjoy warmth and signal integrity over long and complex cable runs.
