EarthQuaker Devices Sunn O))) Life Pedal V3 Octave Distortion + Booster

Earthquaker Devices' Sunn O))) Life V3 is the latest iteration of their collaboration with doomers Sunn O))) and marks a new level of their epic octaver fuzz with high quality components and three-way clipping selector. Building off the popularity of their previous two versions, this is now a permanent member of the EQD family. Faithfully recreated after the classic "white face" Rat distortion of the 80s, the Life V3 has the option for a classic Silicon Diode crunch, but also gives you the option for a diode-free OpAmp assault, as well as a dual diode plus LED for asymmetrical clipping. On top of all this fuzz is an analog full wave rectifier based octaver that can be blended in to taste and controlled via an expression pedal. It works best when playing single notes above the 12th fret, but you can generate delightful chaos by playing whatever and wherever you'd like.

Magnitude is a separate section that is a MOSFET boost for clean, colorless boosting that adds no distortion, but designed to overdrive your amp. The signal path starts with the Octaver, then goes into the distortion, and finalizes with the MOSFET boost. Perfect for deep sludgy grit or dialed back overdrive, the Sunn O))) Life V3 from Earthquaker Devices is a versatile distortion at home on any pedalboard.
