Plus, you can play the Chorda however you want — for example, you can strum it like a guitar, tap it like a drum, or slide on it like a lap steel. It even has a built-in gyroscope, so you can tilt the Chorda to make some seriously wild effects! Perhaps best of all, the Chorda’s USB-C MIDI and onboard Bluetooth LE compatibilities ensure you can capture your ideas on the fly.

A smarter way to strum

Sweetwater musicians are especially impressed with the Chorda’s “Smart Strum” capability. The Chorda’s bridge section has six triggers that can approximate the strumming of an actual guitar. Using this in conjunction with the Chorda’s 12 capacitive sense pads, you’ll be able to play entire guitar chords with a single finger! There’s also an embedded engine for haptic feedback and an 1/8-inch Headphone plus Line Out, which give your Chorda the ability to practice or perform.
