Mythos' nod to the sought-after Clark Gainster!

The new Mythos Spartan series  pays homage to Zach's earliest builds, with labor intensive design and top-shelf components.

The Olympus Overdrive is the first in this series and represents Mythos' nod to the sought after Gainster / Hoochee-Mama circuits.

This original cicuit is known by many as a 'Klon-killer' and for good reason: it's a powerful yet musical overdrive that enhances every part of your tone.

The Olympus features Volume, Presence, and Gain controls. While simple and intuitive, these knobs are incredibly reactive.

The Olympus' overall voicing is ever so slightly mid-pushed and is often compared to classic “Tweed” amps of yesteryear.

The Gain control allows you to go from a very natural boost to a gnarly drive sound that doesn’t step on the toes of your rig.

The Spartan Series is loaded with top-shelf components.

Low Tolerance Carbon Comp resistors, Large Wima capacitors, as well as Silver Mica and Polystyrene caps offer up a smooth and natural high end.

The Olympus' Op-Amp is a Texas Instruments TL072CP, known for it's incredibly low noise and responsive feel.
