This built to order Taylor Custom GC is a work of art for your
hands, your ears, and your eyes. The rich, warm sound of the solid
mahogany back, sides, and top, crafted into the smaller, more
comfortable Taylor Grand Concert body, comes together with clarity and
balance. The top is reinforced with Taylor’s advanced Adirondack CV
Bracing and a Relief Rout to bring out even more depth of tone, while
additional clarity and definition come from the mahogany neck capped
with an ebony fretboard and a bone nut to match the ebony bridge with
its bone saddle. The traditional beauty of the rounded, narrow-waisted
Grand Concert body is enhanced by the slotted peg-head with Taylor slot
head tuners, the mahogany edge-burst finish and the striking paua
abalone rosette.


In addition to its great look and magnificent acoustic sound, this
Custom GC has the ES® integrated pickup system that allows you to plug
in and be heard in any situation. The ES® combines an under-the-bridge
transducer with Taylor’s Dynamic Body Sensor® fastened to the
soundboard, and a Dynamic String Sensor® built-in beneath the fretboard
to faithfully pick up every nuance of your music with the same clear,
natural acoustic sound you hear when you play unplugged, while the
battery powered onboard preamp provides dynamic response and a custom
voiced EQ with active Volume, Bass and Treble controls to shape your
amplified sound. The Taylor Deluxe Hardshell Brown Case ensures that
this guitar will always be ready for the stage, studio, or maybe its
own wing of a guitar museum.
