The tech wizardry of Massimo Mantovani and M-Tech audio in Italy comes to the ever popular Nova Delay. Massimo is renowned for his effects modifications and the new TC Electronic iB Modified Nova Delay is a testament to his reputation. The TC Electronic iB Modified Nova Delay is a result of collaboration between Mantovani, TC Electronic, and ProGuitarShop and features a modified input buffer circuit, based on the updated input buffer of the G-System Limited, that takes it one step further with higher quality components and a new circuit tweak that enhances bypassed clarity and response. The new TC Electronic iB Modified Nova Delay still has all the great features of the original but with an improved bypassed signal that yields higher highs, lower lows, and doesn’t cover up dynamic response of the amplifier or other effects in the chain. The new analog buffer retains signal clarity while still driving long cable lengths without any deteriorating effects on tone. The wider frequency response of the buffer allows for all dynamics and guitar volume manipulation to be passed along to the amplifier naturally so the player can take full advantage of both the delay and the dynamic response of the amplifier. The bypass signal remains analog the entire way through, just like the original version.

Like the original, the TC Electronic iB Modified Nova Delay features 6 studio quality delay types; Delay Line, Dynamic, Reverse, Ping-Pong, Pan, and Slap-Back. It also has two switchable settings, 9 programmable presets and up to 2290ms of delay time. All of the features that we know and love are still present on the TC Electronic iB Modified Nova Delay, but with a greatly improved tone both engaged and bypassed.
