The JHS Pulp 'n Peel is an ultra low-noise, high headroom compressor for guitar that is transparent and smooth.ﾠ Based on a popular vintage design, the JHS Pulp 'n Peel keeps the guitar's natural color and attack in place while adding dynamics and sustain with just enough compression to add some professional "polish".ﾠ The addition of a Blend knob allows for the dry signal to be mixed in so at heavy compression settings, the initial attack doesn't get "squeezed" out of the sound.ﾠ The JHS Pulp 'n Peel V3 also adds a Little Black Buffer to the circuit that is switchable internally for either true bypass or buffered operation.ﾠ The JHS Pulp 'n Peel is the perfect tool for guitarists to add some spank to single coils and life to humbuckers and with the high headroom and switchable buffer, it can act as a boost as well as push signal through long cable runs and lots of pedals.
