FuzzHugger Upper

The FuzzHugger Upper is a unique effect; on its own it is a ringy octave up effect that adds dirt and character to the guitar signal.ﾠ The Upper provides three controls to dial in the octave.ﾠ The Sustain control reduces sustain and the octave effect one way and increases them the other way.ﾠ This allows the user to dial the octave out completely leaving just the dirt.ﾠ The Bias control adjusts the intensity and texture of the octave and the Hi-Freq control is a high cut control for dialing out some of the fizz.ﾠ All this itself makes for a unique and usable effect but that's just the beginning.ﾠ The FuzzHugger Upper features a true-bypass loop that allows for using it in conjunction with your favorite fuzz, overdrive, distortion, or boost.ﾠ Imagine adding an octave to that vintage Big Muff or Fuzz Face.ﾠ Dirty up a germanium boost even more with a sketchy octave tone underlying it.ﾠ The possibilities are endless.ﾠ The FuzzHugger Upper works with any of your favorite effects and the true bypass loop won't let your vintage effects drag your tone down.
